Limitless stumbles its (sequencing of events-wise) way through an intriguing concept. it is a film about being smart done in a dumb way. being agile in a clumsy way. it adds to the experience?

    ★★★½

i love the sci fi thriller concept of this film. a good mood is created. sometimes i found the writing heavy handed and emotionally conceited, not helped by some music and editing choices. other times it felt confused instead of confusing, let alone subtle. this is a story focussed on an individual but i still wish the other characters were more fleshed out.
