  My Neighbor Totoro 1988

  Such a sweet, enjoyable film. The children are so believably well written as children, it’s nothing like I’ve ever seen before in other films, while on that topic, this film obviously leans specifically to the child audience of ghibli films but regardless it’s an experience with value, entertainment, and lots of heart and enjoyment that can be had for any age (I feel like I didn’t need to say that but I guess it kinda just lead to it lol). Great movie

  This film was actually quite the pleasant surprise. I thought it was gonna be a film piggybacking off the actors in it, but the plot and especially the world that is built here has to much creativity from how Santa, the North Pole, elves, even krampus along with tons of other Christmas mythology and even new concepts of technology they could use are all not only fun, but consequential and important parts to the movie as well.
