I will always love this film.

The beautiful cinematography and slight tension between the characters always left such a lasting impression.

The subtlety of love through hidden glances and hesitant actions will forever be understood.

Maybe that is why I am forever drawn to slow-burn romances… the kind where love unfolds quietly, in stolen moments and unspoken words, leaving a lasting ache.

    Wong Kar-Wai, you never miss.

Wow… this film brings to life the same haunting feeling I had when I first read John Wyndham’s The Midwich Cuckoos at 11-years-old.

There is something unsettling about its quiet, controlled horror - no dramatic shocks, just an underlying sense that something is deeply wrong.

Lucio Fulci proves once again that atmosphere trumps logic in House by the Cemetery

This film is like a fever dream filled with eerie visuals, relentless gore, and one of the most unsettling dubbing choices in horror history. A haunted house story brimming with tension, maggots everywhere, and an irritating kid named Bob who sounds like a chain-smoking adult and screams in the most cursed dub imaginable.

Plot holes? Everywhere. Gore? Delightful. Basement? Absolutely not.
