  I'd enjoy these movies as fun, dumb romps, except that they pride themselves on being "clever" with all the twists and tricks and assorted bullshit. This is the kinda schlock that I'd really like to turn my brain off to, except that the film itself keeps telling you to turn it back on with its own pretensions of cleverness.
