Taste of Cherry attempts to portray a message that life is simplistic, we can find value in the smallest of things and therefore it shouldn't be overanalysed. Kiarostami makes use of imagery and slow mundanity to pull this off. I have two reasons why I think this didn't connect with me as a viewer.
