Rewatched this one courtesy of YouTube mostly in remembrance of Michelle Trachtenburg. Some of the bits and gags haven't all aged that well, but the second half still has some absolutely hilarious moments that do hold up even today. And you're still in shock at a Punk-rock emo Matt Damon appearance.

Strange Darling 2023
Even on rewatch the cinematography style that Giovanni Ribisi uses here is still a very unique touch, and the plot twists here are still as shocking and you're even able to pick up on small details you probably missed the first time.
Also, that breakfast is still one of the most disgusting yet appetizing meals I think I've ever seen cooked!

Anora 2024
Damn what a ride! Was not expecting the second and third acts to be so batshit wild and hilarious. Sean Baker's themes of sex workers in small American cities delivers his funniest and most entertaining film to date, all harbored by a powerhouse performance from Mikey Madison. While some of the pacing does feel off in the final act and the subject matter may be hard for some viewers, it's still another amazing slice-of-life filmmaking that we don't see much of now.

Smile 2 2024
Holy shit man, this was actually a much better follow-up than I predicted. It definitely tricks you with the twists that are a little too heavy handed near the end, but the entertainment value and Naomi Scott's performance really makes this a superior sequel in the horror genre.
Also I love when a movie knows about my addiction for the one shot sequences, and that opening 10 minutes was absolutely perfect in mastering anxiety inducing suspense.
