The way that I was yelling at my TV like an actual tennis match in the last third was an absolute trip. Luca really knows how to get you fired up about the motivations of each of his characters
And I know this goes without saying, but the soundtrack fucks like no other. I’m so glad we’re in a world where Trent and Atticus can bless us by having the ability to balance how to set emotional tone and just make great fucking music.
Absolutely had to watch Episode 8, what an absolutely amazing piece of art.

Probably my favorite episode of the Three Stooges I’ve seen, and definitely the most interesting way I’ve seen to threaten nudity.
Jokes aside, Claude Rains puts on an unbelievable performance in this and armed with his unhinged nature and the maniacal laugh he wields, he really adds to the aspects that are unsettling about the concept of an Invisible Man.
And for the time, some of the invisible scenes really are impressive.
The last third of this movie properly makes this THE monster feature that it has been built up as and really builds up mild forms of tension
An absolute trip of a movie. Not good in many senses of the word, but plenty of memorable bits of insanity to remember for a loooong time. It’s a movie that feels wrong to give a standard rating, but acts as a great way of finding how people perceive this and what their expectations were. Personally, I end up equating it to The Room.
