  Oozing with visual panache and juicy interpersonal drama, this film plays like how I would imagine a Gossip Girl episode, but with everyone old, religious, and male.   Quite possibly the best slasher film to come out in decades, Terrifier 2 serves up unrelenting blood, gore, and violence neatly packaged into an exquisite desert for devotee horror fans.

  The star is certainly Art the Clown himself, who is now my new horror icon. His character simply oozes charisma, stealing the show every second he's on screen. During the movie, I kept asking myself: why isn't Art in this scene?

  I’m giving this 1.5 stars simply for the visuals and editing, which are admittedly impressive. However, all other elements of the film are a complete clusterfuck. The story is pandering, boring, and completely buckles under its own weight. Any potential meaning is obfuscated by convoluted philosophical dialogue, self indulgent pseudo-deep ramblings, and pacing so slow you'll want to lobotomize yourself.
