Monty Python’s third film from their coveted trilogy does not pack the same punch as the two masterpieces that precede it. I blame this website and others for making me expect an “Epic” 3 and 1/2 hour film. This is not an epic film. It’s actually pretty relaxed and more of a Drama. Fighting takes the backseat to drama regarding class relations and the character development of the Samurai.
