i definitely needed to rewatch to see all the details that didnt make sense before seeing the ending 🤯🤯🤯
also all the long cuts are literally my shit this is how you film a movie.... and the scene compositions with reflections are so genius i need this big brain 🥲
i gotta say i still enjoy this movie and it resonates with me as someone who would totally do the same shit out of spite/buy into the overwork propaganda but ive been thinking about this ever since i rewatched it that it hits different when you learn the drums and join a jazz band idk i havent enjoyed it as much since 😓 the first time i watched it i experienced neither so i liked it more- i also fell for the propaganda the first watch LOL
the camera work is unlike anything i watched ever. some scenes felt so raw and familiar and really immersive
