    Pretty fascinating watch, albeit a bit more talky than I was expecting. The difference the subtitles makes is much more noticeable. Totally bizarre concept really but made me think seriously about the themes it was trying to highlight. Sometimes it takes a case like this to provide some genuine insight

    Enjoyed this a lot more the second time given my political opinion on it was already formed I could take it as entertainment this time. Also the less than generous display of modern republican groups stood out a bit more for me this time, making me more sympathetic in general. It was too long and a bit boring in the second half though

Had I written it immediatley after the movie, I may have given it 4 stars because the movie itself was actually quite funny.     Really really lovely watch that captured the idyllic nostalgia of a summer in the Irish countryside. Drew us in to the horrible upbringing of the girl and the contrast with the loving environment she was in for the summer. Extremely precise attention to detail made the whole situation very believable.
