  I don't have much to say other than it was very moving.

  It is very different than other films labeled under 'Missing Persons.' Those illuminate the the physical torture; this highlights the mental torture. That's the more interesting story to me.

  Fernanda Torres is the movie. She's really fantastic. Her mother's cameo is disquieting and terrifying and beautiful simultaneously.

  I needed to pee so badly, but every scene was so crucial, that I held it too long. Thus, I had to run when I said that I couldn't hold any longer. I dashed towards the doors, skipped every other step, until I realized (only after its essence inflicted its harm) that the top step didn't have lights.   what. 

  this is like a mix of True Romance and Fatal Attraction. It's bizarre. It has comedic features to it sorta like the music but it also has a darker undertone. 

  Steven Frears does this shark thing in all his films where the predator circles the prey. 

  Annette Bening is really good. She has this perfect phycopath balance. The soft voice and goes into different accents and just does it beautifully.  A real Zelig. John Cusack plays John Cusack. And…

  I never give actual stars on letterboxd. I make an exception for this one.

  It's so absolutely awful. Audiard, istg, said to chatgpt, write me a movie entirely based on stereotypes. then he had Jojo Siwa direct the dances and music. The lyrics are horrid. The music is horrid. The cinematography is horrid. It's all horrid. It's terrible. I cannot believe this is a real film. Holy fuck. It's finally over. 0.5/4 stars.
