  Hoult & Law gave great performances but overall the story was a bit lacking and it seemed to drag on. Also, the movie didn’t thoroughly develop the characters. It gave some basic plot points as “development” but there wasn’t enough there to truly understand their motivations

  I may have liked the animation style more in this movie than Wild Robot but overall I liked this movie a little less than Wild Robot. Each little story segment was cute and the movie did a good job conveying the story without dialogue but I did still feel like I was missing ~something~

  I appreciate the idea of the movie and telling a story about the history of a house but ultimately the final project was too awkward. The Native American and Colonial story lines didn’t feel like they belonged ~here~ and, unfortunately, the COVID story line was distractingly ham fisted into the movie’s plot. Also, the de-aging of Hanks and Wright didn’t really work. However, I would watch another movie about the couple who made the La-Z-Boy!
