Incredible scenography, incredible acting, confusing moral. But I am here for the candle wax sculptures and the subtle magic, the huge hair and flushed cheeks, the drama! And the confusion as well, actually...it did exactly what I was hoping for it to do, a creepy-cosy-witchy-bitchy fall extravaganza....!

Watched this during blackberry season: earlier today I stood in my mother's garden plucking them from a bush and eating them directly. For that and other reasons I identified heavily with Etero, something that must speak to the intimate and empathetic portrait Elene Naveriani succeeds in painting of this (beautiful!) woman, as the material and social circumstances of our lives differ substantially.
