I have enjoyed all the Planet of the Apes films and was curious to see what direction the film would take now that Ceasar has died and so much time has passed. I was not disappointed as the film introduced some new characters, and brought up many questions about how Apes and Humans should coexist. Silent Hill 2006
A wonderful spooky ghost story with some blood and gore thrown in for good measure. The film at times seems to borrow from Resident Evil, Carrie, Hellriaser but the big reveal at the end doesn’t quite match up to the spooky start. I do like this film for the idea of the haunted town, the ash failing like snow muffling sound, plus the music, the eerie sounds and the air raid signal - all combine creat a very creepy atmosphere.
