  from an economics perspective this is an awful allegory and criticism of capitalism. it is overly moralistic (good vs evil) so econ grads will roll their eyes lol. action scenes are enjoyable though

  whole premise is that the tail-end need to stay in the position they inherited, however, the upper-end do not receive any benefit of the poor staying in their station as the poor do not work for the rich. the bad conditions of the poor in this movie…

  think it would have worked better as a dark comedy, morissey is quite a funny and ironic guy even when depressed so that should have been present

  ++ cannot believe they spent so long introducing marr as if him and morisseys relationships isn't the most interesting part of the smiths, but to demonstrate that you'd have to have some sort of homoeroticism which they would never allow, so of course wouldnt be allowed to release
