  Cinematically this miniseries is a work of art.
  The atmosphere was beautifully crafted to bring into perspective the events of the Chernobyl disaster and the not only physical but also emotional impact it had on those involved.

  I went to watch this movie in the movie theater with pretty low expectations. The first half only confirmed these expectations.
  Not much happened apart from a few jumpscares.

  The second half completely changed my attitude towards the movie.
  The mediocre buildup in the first half got justified by a very exiting and tense series of climaxes including some excellent jumpscares (which were ofcourse intensified by the bass of the sound systems in the theater)
