  Basically a reskinned Marvel movie, but I cared more about the references in this movie. However, D&D cinematic universe fatigue is already setting in, this movie came 10 years too late.

  Pros:
  -Fun references (Monster, spells, verbal references)
  -Good standard popcorn movie

  Cons:
  -Bard is not a bard
  -Tired humor format
  -No unique storytelling

  Not exactly ground-breaking for anyone who was aware of politics during the time period, but entertaining nonetheless. Many of the interviews are with some of the most off the rails people you can find. To me the movie reads as a "best of look at these idiots" compilation of videos that you might find posted on YouTube or Reddit. Still, there are interesting moments, and it's nice to have a series of movements and events placed on a timeline.

  Going into the film, all I knew was that there were devious seagulls; the seagulls paid out. The primary argument of the piece 'there is not enough dramatic monologging in modern cinema' was well executed.

  Watched it in theaters with my mom, it was awkward.
