The word you are looking for is 'whimsy', but the non-sequiturs eventually lock into something fully realised and from that point the film never really loses its forward momentum. I suspect I'm not totally on the filmmaker's wavelength, but the ideas are so tightly wound it's very hard to look away.
A lot to admire. I wouldn't oppose a bit more of this grand, modernist filmmaking, and this has some soaring highs, but it's a white elephant. I do wish I had seen it on the big screen, instead of a noisy Webrip.
Brilliant satire, as dark as the abyss and as piercing as the gaze that comes back at you. Imaginative, original filmmaking that will make you laugh and might also make you feel very anxious. Digital cinematography used to great effect.
