The movie does a great job at making you both hate and understand both protagonists. A surprisingly layered look at expectations, determination, passion, insecurity, and the factors that drive levels of happiness. Lots that you can chew through, which is what I love about a good Payne film.
To be honest, not a movie I would watch again. Something about movies centered around infidelity just isn’t a fun moviegoing experience. Yeah, there are some movies you don’t want to watch again that are good - can show you a raw unfiltered look at the world that you don’t want to see but need to see.
