My favorite part of watching older films is noticing how modern films draw influence by certain storytelling techniques or cinematography styles.
What’s great about this film is seeing it’s main influence coming from Macbeth, which came out centuries before it.

Something feels off.
Best way I can rationalize my feelings for this movie is that Oliver is a master-manipulator who results to picking off characters once they realize his true intentions.
But something just feels off. It feels like an over-the-top “Whodunit” with no mystery and weird character development? Idk.
