I guess I'm protecting but the film has this OCD, anxious, inferiority that is common for Polish people. I think it is a good starting point for any foreigner trying to understand Polish people. Visual and poetic masterpiece.

For me, a good film is one that forces me to reflect, and Babygirl did just that—though in an unexpected way. It made me question what truly defines a strong script. Is simply swapping traditionally male dilemmas for a female perspective enough to call a story original? The film explores several compelling themes, but the ones that stood out most to me were shame, power dynamics, manipulation, and sexual frustration. However, I felt the direction and visual style could have been pushed further. There was real potential for a more artistic approach that could have elevated the film’s impact.
