Throw these characters into a ‘Succession’ meets ‘The Young Pope’ series. There’s something so juicy about the relationship between being human, serving the church and faith in God. Each of these missions can be in conflict with each other, or at other times, they work to deepen each other.

I felt I was exposed to a different world and it was fine, enjoyable. But it didn’t transport me anywhere. Kinda felt like a bunch of college kids with a solid enough idea for a film, but didn’t build our relationships with characters enough to really get lost in it. R Patt obvs is so talented, but my mother said he’s just not a leading man. I don’t know if this is more to do with the characters he portrays…

Okay imma be real. I wish I could give this a 3.75 and I feel stupid for not loving it… but here’s what I’m thinking.
The acting is phenomenal, Naomi Watts blew me away. I don’t think I need to explain why everyone’s performances are stellar, just watch the film.
