Mesmerising, twisted and trippy, this had me in a trance. Lynch was 100% on drugs when writing this. I think this is a perfect film, and to try make coherent sense of the story is to miss the point of it - you're meant to just sit back and enjoy the ride, and let it simmer afterwards until you come up with your own interpretation, which makes it several different movies for several different people.

Like Mulholland Drive, I aspire to make something like this. Brilliant.

Was fine. 5/10. Some great stuff, some boring ass stuff. Some to like and some to dislike. Little too long if anything.

    I have completed quarantine's filmography.

I remember watching this in cinema as an 8 year old kid. I think it was one of my favourite movies experiences for years. 13 years later, that inner child is still in me, rooting for these heroes, still smiling during that badass moment where they all gather to face the threat, only now with the knowledge of everybody's fate. It's so interesting to see how they all started off. I think this movie is severely underrated for its writing,…

...and they praise you, which is fine. But once, I was a FUCKING jet engine!

An incredible film with passion oozing from the seams. Among all the humour lies depth and heart, with heavy emotional beats that land every single time. Pretty much all the characters are so lovable, or at the very least, given room to be understood, and everyone gets their moment. It so difficult not to smile throughout the entire movie. It's just so heartwarming, this movie feels like a big, warm hug.

This is one of my all-time favourites
