The Thing with Feathers 2025
What a rollercoaster. I laughed, I was in awe, shock, even closed my eyes for some scenes. Overall, I was incredibly moved and impressed with such a bold, raw, and absurd depiction of moving through grief and despair. I can’t believe this is Dylan Southern’s narrative feature and look forward to seeing more from him!

God I was looking forward to this movie. As a huge fan of Dev Patel, I will watch anything he’s in. Really really enjoyed the first half, but the last 20 minutes confused me so much I was taken out of the story completely. Bleak, bleak, bleak story. Yet another movie of a white man refusing to confront himself and making us all pay for it. Beautifully shot and loved Woody in this, but I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. Not my cup of tea!!
