The perfect review of Troy has already been written, so not much to add.
Terrible movie, i love it.
As a mythology nerd it hurts my bones: way too straight, strange casting choices, Eric Bana and Brad Pitt awoke something in me. Garrett Hedlund looked like a wax model of himself for some reason.

Incredible story with fantastic performances, can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this film before. Might end up reading a translation of the book, so I can truly recapture this feeling of hopeless misery 👍.

Honestly my boy Denis can do no wrong in my eyes, I just love what he’s putting down. Really loved the books and didn’t find them as heavy as I’d heard they were.
