Beautifully shot and exquisitely edited, the close quarters film feels much bigger than it is.
It's also incredible that it's only 94 minutes long! So nice to see proof that historical dramas don't need to be 2½ hours or longer. Tight script, tight editing, powerhouse performances.
And (unlike 2005's Munich, which is also about the terror attack), it feels like we're in 1972.
Peter Sarsgaard is fantastic, as per usual. John Magaro is great as well. (FUN FACT: Magaro's first feature film appearance was as a pedestrian in Munich.)

The Crow 2024
I remember this movie got so much hate months before it released—all based on a photo of Bill Skarsgård's tats and makeup. So it seemed doomed to bomb. But the comic isn't my bible and I don't think Brandon Lee walked on water, so I was allowed to consider enjoying it.
I didn't hate the movie. And I didn't mind Skarsgård's look.
I did wonder how a kid from a trailer park with a deadbeat mom ended up in mega-fancy…

Trigger Warning 2024
It's hard to regret watching Jessica Alba for 2 hours, but this movie really tried to make me do just that.
Derivative story with a lazy script and zero emotional investment in any character.
I'd rather rewatch Into The Blue. Twice.

They/Them 2022
Glee meets Sleepaway Camp.
There's even a (thoroughly enjoyable) musical number.
So many haters for a movie that's very clear in the trailer about what it is. I figure most people just hate-watched it to trash it.
Is it derivative, full of plot holes, and fairly obvious who the killer is? Sure. But it's compelling enough and the acting is good.
It's a fun slasher, although I was hoping for more creative kills and bit more gore.
