    I love these characters so much, they’re just so joyous and fun, not to mention inspiring. The first film nearly brought me to tears and this one probably could’ve done, had it not been misleading in places. Throughout there were many scenes that I thought were the end of the film because of the soft spoken nature of them, but they were just emotional scenes instead. Some storylines were quite amusing but its overall joy of their elderly life shines…

    Firstly, why the heck was Jason Statham in this film? He literally did nothing but cause further problems for Melissa McCarthy. The film had a great soundtrack, especially the title song, very James Bond esq. It clearly had a massive budget, but I don’t really understand why every time someone got shot in the head, the blood came out like powder? It baffled me. Anyway, the whole film was really entertaining and the jokes were quite funny; I really loved…

    What is the plot of this film? It’s so all over the place, completely random, with inserted sex scenes wherever anything remotely dramatic happened. I can’t believe that she took him back so easily; the man clearly has unprocessed trauma that just doesn’t get explained, despite there being scenes dedicated to revealing some of it. At least it was slightly more entertaining than the first one, but still traumatising. Once again, a lot of shouting at the television over stupid decisions and disbelief.

It takes a very dark turn, showing the reality of obsession and what people would do to be in someone else’s shoes.
