    The creative and memorable cinematography, direction, screenplay, and performances in Birdman take the audience on a bumpy amusing ride through the dark, claustrophobic passageways of a Broadway theatre as Riggan Thomson (Michael Keaton) tries to revive his career and self-worth by putting on a show.
