This movie was so terrifying without showing almost any gore. As Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut, I am so impressed; she has a great eye and her timing is impeccable. Not to mention the opening scene is horrifying. Also, the actor who plays Alcala did almost too good of a job playing a serial killer…. men are so scary

this movie was really good; i love the way martin scorsese directs, it’s so theatrical and dramatic. i thought this movie was going to be way more predictable than it was, which was a pleasant surprise, and i loved how it was all over the place. such cool scenes and stills throughout the movie that i wasn’t expecting either. good job martin

i don’t care if this movie is considered basic or a cliche blockbuster film, i fucking love it. maybe one of ben stiller’s best performances. the imagery is insane and the storyline is so strangely unique. i want to be ben stiller longboarding on the open road in greenland some day damnit!!!
