  The worst kind of film: one which gets many disparate things right but just a couple foundational things so wrong that none of the good things can ever coalesce into an emotionally engaging whole.

  Some of the good things:

  -Score
  -Costumes
  -Production design
  -Craft services (probably)

  All of it feels wasted on slop like this. Because there are no characters to connect or empathize with in any capacity. Also the story is stupid. And dumb.

  Personally I was rooting for the giant sand worms. Every human they consumed meant one less actor on screen behaving like an Oblivion NPC.
