  Nothing But a Man 1964

  An almost neo-realist work that takes us back to the era of racial segregation during the 1960s.
  Through a simple but no less important love story we see a man struggling with economic insecurity and discrimination as he tries to raise a family with his new wife.
  With superb performances by Ivan Dixon and Abbey Lincoln this is an honest and very accurate portrayal of that society, I would go so far as to say one of the best films on this subject.

  What an insufferable film suited for people who haven't moved past their childhood and Disney movies. It isn't funny, it isn't cute, it's a snooze fest. The aesthetics are horrendous.
