The Brutalist is an incredibly expansive film with it’s stunning visuals, great characters, and fantastic storytelling.  Adrien Brody has done some incredible performances over his career, but even without seeing all of his performances, this is my favorite from him.  He runs the gamut of emotions here.  I’ve also been a fan of Brady Corbet as an actor for a long time, but have never seen any of his films until this one.  Corbet was tremendously ambitious with this film.  When watching this film, I felt as if I was immersed in the tapestry of a rich novel.  Bravo!

Flow is a film about a cat whose home is destroyed and ends up going on a journey through the wilderness with a cast of other animal characters.  There is no dialogue (except animal speak), which adds a dimension of realism to the film.  But, the film almost feels dreamlike at times with this particular style of animation, which I love.  Stunningly beautiful!

I’m in awe just thinking about the work and dedication it took to accomplish this incredible production!  Incredible performances, great music, and a great story.  I love stories that make you question whether a character who is deemed evil is that way naturally or was made to be that way.  Congratulations to all cast and crew for this amazing feat!
