Somehow, this film didn’t do it for me. It is interesting to see her struggles with staying away from the alcohol and I completely believe how hard it is. But there was too much chaos for me. A lot of jumps back and forth. For the first half of the movie I didn’t understand which story of all the different timelines the movie really tries to tell. I can’t even call it timelines, because I didn’t really see the lines…

Dieser Film ist ein Kunstwerk. In vielen Szenen hat man passend zum Titel das Gefühl, das Bild könne auch ein Gemälde sein. Kurz gesagt: Der Look des Filmes ist fantastisch. Ich könnte ihn mir immer wieder angucken, allein um die Bilder nochmal genießen zu können.
Leider war für mich zu Beginn des Filmes nicht gut genug nachvollziehbar, warum die Malerin fühlt wie sie fühlt. Abgesehen davon habe ich aber nichts an dem Film zu kritisieren.Translated from by
