don't know if I'm reaching with this but I genuinely feel like this movie also greatly portrays how stereotypically the movie industry used to (and still does) treat someone based on their gender alone. For example men only mostly being starred in action, war-filled movies as the main characters and heroes, whereas women were only able to get parts and succeed if they'd act suggestively and show their bodies.
