My final review of My Soul to Take is that objectively it was very good but flawed. The concept & execution at the core of the movie was actually super subversive & well done. Still, it wasted way too much time on needless scenes & shots of characters that were never going to live very long. I’m not saying any given plot-line or character should’ve been cut but there’s a lot of editing that could’ve been done to simply shorten the first half…
