It was just ok.
Good cast tho
This was a strikingly fantastic movie. I have to say, it really took me on a whirlwind of emotions. God, women are so fucking awesome. This movie really digs into the societal norms and expectations on women and of motherhood. Would highly recommend watching this for its clever critique and evaluation of social norms and the ups and downs of the raw, "maternal", and wild nature in all women.
Honestly not that great of a movie. The intent is clear but the humor to cringe ratio made it less impactful and in some ways detracted from the point. I did enjoy Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy's dynamic. It was good to see Eddie Murphy in a movie again. The cinematography and the costume design were on point, I will say. Everyone looked fire.
Eerie, funny, original. I was definitely shook by the events that transcended—captivating and suspenseful with so many different meanings and messages packed into one plot. But it wasn’t too much; they struck a good balance. Very black mirror.
It left me feeling totally wigged out about dystopian governmental conspiracy mind control. And. For the record. Was a mystery not like Nancy drew at all lol.
What an excellent casting choice too for our trio of main characters. This is one you’re gonna want to watch.
