    while this was brilliantly shot, I felt like this was more about Felicia than Leonard. This is surprising since Cooper directed it and stars as Leonard. Mulligan was fantastic with what little she had to go off of script-wise, but this felt more like a glimpse (and only a glimpse) into the couple’s marriage than anything else. Also, the movie felt like a bunch of random clips just sliced together?? It lacked some coherence and cohesion for me, personally. It kind of just meandered. Second half was stronger than the first for me.

    This was obviously a harrowing film with a crucial story to be told, disseminated by powerhouse names; however, I was left really perplexed by Mollie. I did not understand how she could be so blinded as to not see what her husband and his family were doing, given how intelligent she was in other aspects of the story.
