  lily rose depp ate SO MF BAD. it’s genuinely absurd that she will join the long line of women in horror who gave excellent performances yet receive zero awards recognition. i’m actually gonna get mad

  in other news, i think robert eggers made me realize how much i love gothic horror. this was deliciously grotesque & unnerving. toreeee

  i couldn’t decide if i wanted to write this review as a joke or not. and i feel like that perfectly sums up my feelings about this movie. i GENUINELY couldn’t figure out if ANYTHING was meant to be serious because EVERYTHING was SO DEEPLY UNSERIOUS. which is WILD considering that hollywood seems to be taking this movie VERY seriously. AND I SIMPLY COULD NOT TELL YOU WHY.
