Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 2024
Paul Rudd, Kumail Najiani, and Bill Murray gave comedic performances that helped the film feel like the original Ghostbusters. But the villain was defeated very easily and too much exposition was in the rest of the story. The CGI was very detailed though, and with some of the ghosts, like Slimer, they gave them an older look to represent the ghosts of the original. Pretty good and a fun film if you enjoy Ghostbusters 👻

Spaceman 2024
Adam Sandler gave an incredible performance and the voice acting from Paul Dano was very well done. A very powerful, symbolic, and moving film. The cinematography was very good, but very dark in most scenes, which was difficult to see. But the darkness made sense for being in space, the absence of light. And the flashbacks having the pov of a spider was a good technique to show how the characters are connected.

This film was certainly something. Although the concept was okay, the acting and writing was very poor. The quality was very well done considering that there were not any major production companies included. But overall, it was one of those films that it was so bad it’s good. Characters were dying and the theater was laughing at it.
Still better than Madame Web though 🕷️
