Watched in great envy of all those at golden plains this weekend. Completely exceeded my expectations.
This film did an amazing job of building its own unique mood and style which helped bring the music to life. Loved all the creative decisions in how the story was told, the music, and a healthy dose of British counter-culture and anti-Thatcherism. Will be coming back to this again

Pixar’s still got it. Over the last few years it’s felt like the annual Pixar releases haven’t hit the same poignancy, creativity or fun of the Pixar we know but this film shows that we don’t need the original crop of writers and directors to hit a home run (even though Peter Doctor is still listed as an exec producer).
This film takes Peter’s original idea for Inside Out and makes a natural progression to more complex ideas and story.…
