  I was really excited to rewatch Sing Sing. I’ve been thinking about it all week, and I finally found the time to sit down and watched it again, and I’m really glad I did, it’s just a really beautiful film. 

  For a film all about being in prison, the soundtrack is beautiful, and freeing and brings the whole thing together. 

  Very loving performances from everyone involved. 

  Not to mention it’s all shot on 16mm film.

  I’m going to be honest I went into this with high and weird expectations. It was my first film of 2024 and thought it was going to be weird as fuck. 

  and It was weird as fuck, but not overly weirded, just the right amount.

  Great acting by Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo. It made me laugh out loud multiple times.

  I can see why everyone’s rating it so highly. A strong contender going into Oscar season.
