“I’m the other daughter, I’m beautifully tragic.”

Wicked was so well executed. Cynthia is a goddess and Ariana is totally in her element. I can’t wait to show this to my kids one day.

The design elements were stellar. I especially liked the way Shiz looked so fantastical while still being rooted in reality. I thought it was clever when Elphaba’s magic tantrum revealed the hidden mural of animals. Glinda’s myriad of detailed pink outfits were epic—the detail was *chef’s kiss*. Those monkeys were scarier than I ever thought they would be—I wonder how many kids left the theater having nightmares about those!

“I like Anora, I mean I like Anora more than Ani”

I wish I saw Anora in theaters. The last scene would have been that much more moving. Mikey Madison deserves all the praise — her commitment shines through her choices. "I never could keep my finger off of a sore"

Damn this play is depressing. Every character is so highly flawed and tragically human. Jack O'connell did a great job of sitting in the stillness of the heartbreak that Brick is lost in. Big Daddy is such a gross character, but somehow, Colm Meaney made me sympathize with him. My favorite scene was when Big Daddy discovers Brick is an alcoholic — it was gut-wrenching to watch this domineering plantation…
