  I’m so fucking mad after watching this. I didn’t know what I was getting myself in to and now I wish I could erase this piece of shit off my mind. I genuinely don’t understand how someone can like this movie. You can’t call a movie ‘feminist’ when the supposed empowerment a woman gets is from continuous rapes (which are oversexualized and portrayed from a pornographic perspective). This is made from and for the male gaze, continuously subjugating women’s empowerment…

  That beach scene is criminal. It literally added nothing to the plot, so I wonder why they filmed it? There are plenty of other ways to portray and maintain a good representation of innocent childhood “love”, but instead it feels oversexualised and completely wrong to watch.
  Just thinking about grown ass adults directing this film and telling these 12-year-old kids to french kiss, stay on their underwear and to touch themselves makes me sick. DISGUSTING.
