The emotional impact is so heavy that I never want to watch it again, and yet the way the story is told is so unique and interesting that I must.

It took some time getting used to the whole POV from 2 perspectives thing, not least because of the switches in time and interspersed real life news, but once I did - wow

Obviously big up mathematicians being cool and big up Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson but there were a few things that didnt sit well with me.

Why was she shown to be meekly running to the coloured bathroom when in reality she used the white bathroom despite being asked not to? The truth is a way better story anyway!

Like an alternate version of The Glass Onion, it's fun, tense and silly in equal measure with an underlying message poking fun at all the right people. There are shallow characters and more interesting in depth ones. Ana Taylor Joy doesn't look like she could grow up poor though, she has rich people cheekbones sadly. That slight miscast aside, a thoroughly enjoyable film
