  Aesthetically, is this maybe the best movie ever? Looooove the early-to-mid-century retrofuturism, if that’s even remotely close to what you could call it. 

  And to think I was wondering the whole time “okay I’m enjoying this but why is it called Brazil?”. And now I kinda wish I didn’t find out cause now I’ll be reminded of it every time I hear that classic tune 🥺😖

  There’s the first 45 minutes and then there’s the second 45 minutes. 

  I’d rather watch the the second half three or four times than the first half once. 

  Also, should we talk about the Poltergeist Curse? Cause wow.
