Fun, zany, unpredictable and meaningful. The story is solid, with the theme being that every human is worthy of honor, respect, and dignity. That theme is then accompanied by some social commentary, from the obvious T-ump impression to the lowkey obsession with the calorie-deficit sauce. I also feel like everyone here is sleeping on how great the Nasha character was? And the scientists? So fun!

Nosferatu 2024
First half of the movie was incredible: the sequence of Thomas arriving to the castle!! That forest!! The doors opening to Count Orlok in the distance!! Their interactions whilst a huge blazing fire is behind them. The shadow play!!
All that is pretty much thrown out in the second half because it felt like Hollywood took over Eggers. Rushed, with all tension lost.
The whole cast was great and I could have gone an hour more with them.
PS: My friend and I loved when Count Orlok said something along the lines of, “We’re going to be neighbors!” as he signed the paperwork. Whatta guy.
