  Parts of I, Tonya sort of feel like when David O. Russell is trying to do Scorsese. Much is made of voice over, and there's a lot of rock and roll songs revving up the soundtrack.
  The performances are what make this film. Margot Robbie is fantastic throughout. Allison Janney plays a perfect, chainsmoking, abusive mother. Sebastian Stan somehow makes the battering ex-husband into a character you care about.
