  holy fucking shit this movie made me tear up. horrifically effective experience, and i wasn't expecting the metatextual elements of the narrative to appear in the slightest. yes, it got a little too out there at the very end, but otherwise it was. good. GOOD.

  pretty enjoyable !! please note, I'm not very familiar with Godzilla nor many of his portrayals and past media.

  the character-centered narrative really helped me feel more involved and connected to the world than "haha big lizard go smash," which is what im used to in kaiju media. very symmetrical movie i noticed, lots of threes which is fun ! i enjoyed the effects and sets (especially well done), and the storyline felt very cohesive and realistic, impressive considering the…
