i knew this movie was gonna be a 3 star rating from minute ten and i was. definitely not challenged on that ascertion. so i put it lower.
this is a comic book movie though, just so we're clear

holy fucking shit this movie made me tear up. horrifically effective experience, and i wasn't expecting the metatextual elements of the narrative to appear in the slightest. yes, it got a little too out there at the very end, but otherwise it was. good. GOOD.
